I went to a friend’s barbecue and loved it. So I went out and bought a smoker. I always loved barbecue and thought it would be easy. I burnt pork tenderloin, and on my second try made some real tough ribs. Then I hooked up with Gene at now your cooking. Gene showed me that water should never be used in the water pan and to use sand. He also showed me how to make a dry rub, how to regulate the fire, and converted me to natural lump. On my own I barbecued a pork butt that was to die for. He spent about 6 hours at my place and even helped me pick out the meat. I can't say how many things I learned that day. They only charged me $150. For that price I can now barbecue with the best of them!

I did not know how to cook at all, other than on a George Forman grill. I'm single, 48, and never had to cook. Well I got way over weight eating out and eating fast food. Got on Atkins but didn't know how to cook. Called the folks at "Now Your Cooking". Long story short. I learned to cook brussel sprouts 3 different ways, how to make a great hamburger (no bun for me) and how to make ginger teriyaki salmon (using splenda for the teriyaki). And it's all so easy!

I had rumaki many times at a Chinese place near my home and was crushed when it closed down. A friend told me about Now Your Cooking so I gave them a call. The girl on the phone (Anna or Hanna) told me that "of course we can teach you how to make it"! And they did! And even better than the only place I have ever had it before.
